If your career development strategy starts and ends with promotions, it’s time for a rethink. In this session, we’ll explore how defining performance through accomplishments, not just competencies or titles, can transform career pathing and internal mobility.

You’ll learn how to assess organizational needs, define clear roles and job levels, and map career paths that drive engagement and business results. We’ll also explore how job crafting empowers employees to reshape their roles in ways that support growth, impact, and retention, creating micro pathways for development even without a role change.

To complement these strategies, we’ll highlight Julie Winkle Giulioni’s multidimensional career framework to help leaders offer diverse growth options beyond traditional advancement.

Leave with practical steps to design or refine your career path program, including setting evaluation criteria, implementing development strategies, and supporting leaders in meaningful, accomplishment-focused growth conversations.
