You're Talking - But Is Anyone Really Listening?

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Dave Schwensen shows you how to have memorable and productive conversations by employing creativity and humor as communication enhancements without distracting from your message. These personality-driven conversation techniques are the basis for courses he's designed in communications and presentation skills for Cleveland State University and other "halls of higher learning." During his program Dave uses handouts from his course workbook and audience participation to explain and demonstrate how to develop dynamic and memorable first impressions and conversations. Communicating has never been more fun - and productive.

Biography:

Dave is a nationally-recognized comedy coach, former television talent coordinator and author of the books "How To Be A Working Comic" and "Comedy FAQs And Answers."  A veteran of the fast paced and high stress entertainment industry in Hollywood and New York, he worked behind the scenes as a comedian consultant for television networks, film studios and live performance venues. Included in these credits are "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Late Night with David Letterman," Comedy Central, HBO and many others. With egos and star power often clashing on a daily basis, Dave developed an innovative style of business communication skills relying on humor and creativity through his relationships with many of today's top comedy stars and production companies.

Dave has been featured on PBS Television and Radio, Chicago Tribune, U.S. News & World Report, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Hollywood Reporter, InsideBiz.com Magazine, Ohio Magazine and many others.
