Instructional Design SIG - Tips and Tricks for E-Learning Projects: Speed Up and Smooth Out eLearning Development

eLearning development is a sprawling topic, and instructional designers often have to learn these skills as they are troubleshooting their own projects. During this session, we will dedicate time to discussing some of the intermediate (and maybe even advanced) tips and tricks that help us develop effective eLearning projects. We'll also take a look at the TPACK model and how it can help us think about balancing the many competing priorities we have to juggle during eLearning development.

This session will include a short lesson and then a peer roundtable discussion, allowing us to tap into our collective expertise. Come ready to share your experiences, ask questions, and learn from others who are navigating the same challenges. The facilitators will guide the conversation, but the value of this session will come from the insights, stories, and strategies you bring to the table.

You'll leave with practical strategies and new ideas you can apply immediately to the eLearning projects you're working on.

Teresa Potter, M.Ed., is the CEO and Principal Instructional Designer of T. Potter Instructional Design. She started her career as a classroom teacher in middle and high school language arts and has since spent 10+ years working in instructional Design. She has done ID work across higher education institutions, corporate roles, and consulting. She has spent her career leading bleeding-edge educational tchnology projects where there are more questions than answers.
