Do you work for a manufacturing business, or act as a consultant for one? Please join CVATD on August 4 at 7:45am to hear Stacey Schroeder share some tips and best practices that she has developed over the years as a consultant. She has targeted women in this workspace specifically.
As part of her consulting business, she supports the national non-profit “Women in Manufacturing” with designing, building, moderating, and evaluating all kinds of educational programs. One of her most recent successes is the “Empowering Women in Production Program”, which she architected from an idea to reality. Please join us to hear the lessons learned and the techniques she has employed with great success.
ATD Capability Model Alignment: Developing Professional Capability
Presenter: Stacey Schroeder
I am a dynamic, energetic workforce development professional, with a passion for making things run
more smoothly and efficiently. I love to partner with clients and come up with solutions that improve their business and
the lives of their employees and end customers. I am a trained engineer, with advanced degrees in manufacturing and
operations management, logistics, supply chain, and Six Sigma methodologies, as well as a certification in adult training
and development. I have worked in the learning and development space for over a decade, and I approach it with a
systematic, practical approach gained from my engineering and operations background. I have experience in a number
of large manufacturing companies, across multiple industries in both the public and private sector, as well as experience
at two national manufacturing non-profits. A snapshot of companies I’ve worked with include Owens Corning, PolyOne,
Swagelok, Boehringer Ingelheim, Ford, Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions, the National Tooling and Machining Association,
and the Precision Metalforming Association. My clients trust me to investigate and identify performance gaps, design
and deliver live and virtual educational events, facilitate live and virtual roundtables and meetings, present at
conferences, moderate panel discussions, source and negotiate with other thought leaders for particular niche areas,
and act as a trusted, experienced extension of their team. I am a board member for Youth Opportunities Unlimited, a
board member for Women in Manufacturing Ohio, an active mentor and scholarship funder for College Now Greater
Cleveland, a volunteer and donor for Valley Riding’s Therapeutic Riding Program, and a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big
Sisters. I thrive on helping solve my clients’ challenges, and I look forward to helping you with your workforce
development needs!
