We will be discussing a small but mighty book called the Pumpkin Plan. Just as almost every pumpkin farmer grows ordinary Halloween carving pumpkins, most entrepreneurs grow ordinary, unremarkable businesses. Yet by tweaking their approach in small ways, farmers can grow giant, prize-winning pumpkins that get all the attention and press coverage.

In The Pumpkin Plan, Mike Michalowicz, reveals how applying the same few simple methods farmers use to grow colossal prize-winning pumpkins can lead entrepreneurs to grow colossally successful businesses. Susan will share how she applied a few of these basic principles into her own business with great success.

• How small gestures can have a big payoff
• Start applying these simple principles immediately in your own business

What is the consultants SIG?

A Special Interest Group (SIG) is a smaller group of members within the Cuyahoga Valley ATD Chapter who share a similar interest in a specific topic.  SIGs offer programming and networking opportunities centered around a particular topic. 

The Consultants SIG is a forum for solo practitioners that provide learning and development services to network, share best practices, and find areas for collaboration. It provides a resource for new consultants or those interested in exploring consulting to learn from well-established businesses.  We usually meet on the last Friday of the month at Noon.  Please check our website for our current schedule.
