When Training Isn't Enough

with Therese Longo and Amy Edmonds

Training only solves a small percentage of performance problems, so how do you correct the rest of them? Human Performance Improvement uncovers the root causes for performance problems, getting to the heart of what is wrong so it can be made right. Find out more about the different performance improvement models and how they can be used to create positive results.

Presenters: Therese Longo and Amy Edmonds

Therese Longo is a learning and development professional with a passion for driving performance culture to increase job satisfaction and elevate business results. As the Vice President of Operations for Radcom, Therese draws upon her background as a Certified Performance Thinking® Practitioner and her 20 years of experience as an instructional design professional to drive continuous improvement within Radcom. Therese applies her performance improvement expertise with clients, managing various projects, through which she helps business executives achieve organizational goals through the performance of their people. She holds a Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology from Kent State University.                                                              

Amy Edmonds has over twenty years of experience designing, developing, and facilitating training on a wide variety of topics. A self-proclaimed education junkie, she's completed the Langevin Certified Instructional Designer program, ATD Improving Human Performance Improvement Certificate, and 6 Sigma training programs. Amy's goal is to design learn experiences that are both engaging and effective. She is a Senior Learning Solutions Designer for the Center for Leadership Studies located in Cary, NC. She holds both BBA in Marketing and MBA in Management from the University of Toledo.
