Talent Development Professionals as Lifelong Learners

Lifelong learning is sometimes called continuous learning, agile learning, or learning drive. It is marked by traits such as self-motivation, insatiable curiosity, and intelligent risk-taking. Talent development professionals should model the value of lifelong learning by pursuing knowledge for personal and professional reasons. Taking ownership for one's own professional development signals to others that they can and should do the same.

Join this “speed networking” event to engage with other TD professionals about how we become and stay lifelong learners. Learn habits that others have developed and tools that others use that you may want to incorporate into your life and meet fellow TD colleagues in the process.

In this session, you will:

Learn tips, tricks and best practices from guests and fellow members on how they keep the flame burning and the habits they have created for ongoing learning in their lives.

ATD Capability Model Alignment:

This session will align with the capability model in: Building Personal Capability – Cultural Awareness and Inclusion and Emotional Intelligence in Decision Making

A morning meeting where talent development professionals gather to share ideas.

We hold discussions about topics trending in the Talent Development (TD) Magazine and other relevant issues.

This is an opportunity to network with other talent development professionals.

Where: Zoom------this is not an April fool's joke - we will be using Zoom for this meeting.
