How we respond to change, how we manage change, and how we support change is as individual as we are. In this session, we will be focusing on the leader’s role in change, defining change management, and introducing the ADKAR change management model.

Facilitator: Marsha Friedman
Marsha Friedman is the principal and founder of MEF Consulting Group. As a leadership and personal development coach, Marsha works with mid-level managers and small business owners to improve leadership effectiveness, reduce workplace drama, and drive retention and engagement.
Prior to founding MEF Consulting Group, Marsha was the head of learning and organization development for Diebold Global Service Logistics. Her 30+-year career at Diebold spanned across the organization from finance to customer service and from operations to organizational development.
Marsha is co-facilitator of Summit Networking Group for executive level job-seekers and a training leader for The Corporate University (Kent State - Stark). She is the author of Surviving and Thriving Despite the Drama and her second book, Job Search Mastery: How to obliterate obstacles on the path to your next job, will be published this fall.
Marsha is a lifelong learner with a BS in Accounting from Miami University and a Masters Liberal Studies in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University. She holds certifications as a Registered Corporate CoachTM, Master Trainer, Myers Briggs Type Indicator and DiSC facilitator, and Distinguished Toastmaster.
Marsha is an active member of the International Coaches Federation, National Speakers Association, and Toastmasters International. She serves as Endowment Chair of Beth El Congregation and co-chairs Knitzvah (knitting & crocheting for local charities).
In her free time, Marsha enjoys cooking and sharing meals with her family and friends and working out. She is passionate about live theater and films, dark chocolate, and good wine! Marsha and her husband, Bob, have 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
