“We all have dreams. In order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.”― Jesse Owens
What do training and development in business settings and talent development in sports have in common? How are they different?
This month's speaker, Dr. Sam Maniar, has extensive experience helping athletes, executives, and organizations achieve peak performance. He has worked with teams, executives, and high potentials from virtually all sports and industries.
He’ll share with us…
- Similarities and differences between developing organizations and developing sports teams
- Strategies athletes use to achieve peak performance and how to apply them in the business world
- Ways to replicate some of your best performances and avoid the worst
In keeping with the topic and the season, this month’s meeting will be “tailgate” themed. Wear your favorite team’s jersey or logo for a chance to win prizes.
