NEOASTD Coffee, Chat and Contacts (CCC)

What is Coffee, Chat and Contacts?  It is a morning meeting where trainers get-together and share ideas.  There is a facilitator who leads the meeting, however, it is open conversation.

Topic: Facilitation vs. Training

A facilitator and a trainer walk into a bar.

The bartender asks, “What’ll you two have”.

The trainer proceeds to tell the bartender about all the different types of liquor on his shelf, including dates of manufacture and various quality levels of everything he has.  Then he determines his desired outcomes and benefits of each choice and makes his selection.

The facilitator says to the bartender, “I don’t know anything about liquor, but I’ll have whatever you tell me I should drink.”
