How does improv training improve facilitation skills?

Improv performers don’t know what will happen onstage until they're up there. Each scene begins with a suggestion from the audience. The performers start with that prompt, making up the story as they go along.

Although they improvise, performers draw on time-honored principles - many of the same principles used by great facilitators.

This session explores ways to use improv to improve facilitation skills.

Learning Objectives:

  • Change behavior by changing the vocabulary
  • Build public speaking skills
  • Foster collaboration in groups
  • Create something that is truly shared
  • Use multiple intelligences

Who should attend?  Anyone having interests or responsibilities in training, learning and development, talent development, performance improvement, and/or human resources development.
