BYOL - Bring Your Own Laptop: PowerPoint Tips and Tricks
This hands-on workshop will teach you how to make PowerPoint presentations more visually appealing.
We will discuss basic design theory and the hands-on design of a graphically stimulating PowerPoint (which almost never uses a bullet point).
You'll learn how to:
- Design custom color palettes
- Find the RGB code of any object
- Create and write content in shapes
- Edit shape size, color, aspect ratio and transparency
- Align and group shapes
- Locate, insert and alter icons
- Develop an attractive table of contents you can customize for your own presentations
- Create a slide that can be used to display a list of strategies

Tiffany develops info-graphics and is a PowerPoint enthusiast.
Aaron Sturnbaum
Aaron Sturbaum is an up-and-coming training and development specialist and a self-described PowerPoint geek.
A recent graduate from The University of Akron, Aaron obtained a Bachelor of Arts by majoring in Business and Organizational Communication and Interpersonal Communication also minoring in Conflict Management.
Aaron is the Training Manager at TL Worldwide Transportation and lives in Akron.
